Korean Mandu Guk for Dumpling #22 - mandu (dumpling) and guk (soup). This is a typical Lunar New Year dish in Korea, often with Korean rice cakes (tteok) added as well or instead of dumplings.
This luscious Rhubarb, Orange & Pistachio cake is my April recipe for @belfasttimes - for the recipe see the link in my bio.
For dumpling #21 we travel (in our dreams) to Mongolia for these khuushuur. These are deep fried dumplings filled with minced beef, onion, garlic and caraway seeds.
Edible Flower Cakes are back! I’m reopening my cake orders from today with lots of beautiful new season flowers 💐 🌸🌺💐🌸🌺
I pickled some magnolia flowers a couple of weeks ago (they are sweet & sour and gingery) and I thought they would go really well with a katsu curry - so I made this aubergine katsu curry and it was pretty delicious with the magnolia. I will definitely be breading more aubergine slices in the future.
Happy Easter everyone! I hope your days were filled with a little relaxation and lots of chocolate!
