Belfast Design Week: Design Dinner – November 2017


We’re delighted to be cooking up a feast to kick off the start of this year’s Belfast Design Week. Styled by the amazingly talented Grace & Saviour, expect a beautiful, intimate venue and heaped sharing platters filled with Asian and Middle Eastern inspired dishes.

This year’s Design Dinner guest speaker will be Mark Reihill, well known for his work with The World’s Best Bar, The Dead Rabbit.

Starters to Share

Cucumber Raita, Beetroot Houmous
Homemade Flatbreads with Nigella Seeds for dipping

Bhel Puri – A Sour, Spicy & Crunchy Indian Street Food Snack

Beef & Lemongrass Lettuce Wraps
Spicy Mushroom Lettuce Wraps

Thai Fishcakes or Sweetcorn Fritters
Served with a Sweet & Spicy Dipping Sauce

The Main Event

Slow Cooked Beef Brisket with Cumin
Homemade Falafels
Both served with Tahini & Yoghurt Sauce

Bejewelled Persian Rice
Roasted Squash & ‘Ginger’ tomatoes Salad with Cashews & Lime and Cardamom Yoghurt
Wilted Kale with Burnt Spring Onion Dip and Pickled Chilli
Za’atar Roasted Beets with Shallots, Thyme & Goat’s Cheese

To Finish

Caramelised Pomegranate & Carrot Cake with Citrusy Mascapone
Coffee or Mint Tea

The drinks: On arrival you will receive a Prosecco cocktail and wine will be served throughout the evening. 
The time: 7:30pm to 10:30pm, Saturday 4th November 2017
The place: Artcetera Studio, 43b Rosemary Street Belfast, BT1 1QB
The cost: £50 per person (plus a £3.30 booking fee)
Dietary Requirements: Veggie options are available (see menu above) but please let us know in advance if you require the veggie option. For all other dietary requirements just let us know when you book and we’ll try our absolute best to accommodate you.
