We’re delighting to be popping up this December (8 & 9 December) at Boden Park Coffee Company on the Ormeau Road, offering an alternative to the usual Christmas menus.
For December’s menu we’ve been inspired by some of our favourite South East Asian dishes – plenty of places will be offering turkey, roasties and brussel sprouts – so we’re aiming for something a bit different but equally celebratory! Expect smoked duck, wasabi, chilli, lemongrass, crispy spring rolls, seared beef, mango, fresh herbs and Sichuan pepper, plus a dash of Boden Park’s gorgeous house-roasted coffee, combined with our usual eclectic, international and veggie-focused style of cooking.

Boden Park Coffee Company is a coffee shop based in the beautiful old Ormeau Bakery Building on the vibrant Ormeau Road. The coffee shop, run by entrepreneur Orla McKeating, provides delicious coffees, homemade cakes, pastries and lunches to her eager local (and not so local) audience. Orla has also recently started roasting her own coffee beans for the cafe with delicious results, the coffee will be featured in a few of the dishes on October’s menu. Jo has already brewed a Boden Park Coffee Dunkel, using Orla’s Brazilian Fazenda Sao Silvestre
The menu: A five-course tasting menu of eclectic Asian dishes with our own twist, plus a few extras. Think smoked duck, wasabi, chilli, lemongrass, crispy spring rolls, seared beef, mango, fresh herbs and Sichuan pepper. Plus a dash of house-roasted coffee.
The drinks: This event is BYO. Please bring a bottle (or more) of your favourite tipple. A welcome cocktail will be provided plus a small taste of craft beer matched with a few of the courses.
The time: 7.30pm, Friday 8 or Saturday 9 December 2017
The place: Boden Park Coffee Company, Unit 10, Ormeau Bakery, Ormeau Road
The cost: £35 per person (plus a £1 booking fee) for a five-course tasting menu plus a few extras.
Dietary Requirements: Veggie options are available for all courses (see menu above) but please let us know in advance if you require the veggie option. For all other dietary requirements just let us know when you book and we’ll try our absolute best to accommodate you.
