Join us at Indie Fude in Comber on Friday 24 March or Saturday 25 March and be transported to sunny Central America with a Mexican Feast.
We love Mexican food. It’s full of fresh flavours and surprising combinations. We’ve previously been inspired by a long ago student holiday to Mexico, trips to California (where there is gorgeous Mexican food) and by some really excellent Mexican cook books. But now we are heading to Mexico for a three week food focused trip. We’ll be taking cooking classes, doing street food tours, exploring markets and generally eating our way around the country. We want to bring back a slice of Mexican sunshine (with a generous side helping of guacamole) to Northern Ireland.
The menu will be inspired by the vibrant, fresh and spicy flavours of Mexico and some of the gorgeous artisanal Irish products that Johnny sells at Indie Fude. We’ll be matching a few of the courses with a taste of craft beers and chatting about Mexican food, beer and brewing.
Indie Fude is an independent food company sourcing locally handmade Irish products. They love supporting local food makers and sharing the lovely products they find with their customers via their online shop, their deli in Comber and at a range of markets across Northern Ireland.
