We’re delighted to be back at the Black Box, Belfast in the New Year for another afternoon of beer chat and beer tasting.
You may already have had plenty of practice but there is always more you can learn about drinking beer. Join our very own enthusiastic beer drinker and homebrewer extraordinaire, Jo Facer for a journey through the world of beer tasting. Learn how to taste and recognise some classic beer styles, how different ingredients and the brewing process affect the taste and to recognise those funky (wrong!?) flavours in beer. A quick pint down your local will never be quite the same again!
…and yes beer is included in the price so strictly over 18s.
We’re running this event in collaboration with The Faculty, a Seedhead Arts project designed for people who want to keep learning throughout their life. Faculty Lectures are accessible, informal and fun lectures by people who know lots. They’re not academic because we’re not all academics, but that doesn’t mean we’re not interested in stuff. It’s a collection of the curious and the subject could be anything.
This lecture is part of the Out to Lunch Festival 2020 running from 3rd to 26th Janaury 2020. Check out lots of other fabulous at here.
The time: 3pm to 5pm, Sunday 26 January 2020
The place: The Black Box, The Green Room, 18-22 Hill Street, Belfast, BT1 2LA
The cost: £10 per person for the lecture plus a taste of a few different beers
Dietary Requirements: All the beers will be veggie friendly but sadly, they won’t be suitable for coeliacs.
