Join us at Indie Fude in Comber and be transported to Saigon with a zingy five course Vietnamese Feast on Thursday 19 January or Friday 20 January. CLICK HERE TO BOOK.

The menu is inspired by the vibrant, fresh and citrus flavours of Vietnam and some of the gorgeous artisanal Irish products that Johnny sells at Indie Fude. We’ll be matching a few of the courses with a taste of  craft beers and chatting about Vietnamese food, beer and brewing.

Indie Fude is an independent food company sourcing locally handmade Irish products. They love supporting local food makers and sharing the lovely products they find with their customers via their online shop, their deli in Comber and at a range of markets across Northern Ireland.

The menu: A Vietnamese Feast inspired by the dishes of Saigon, Hoi An, Hue and Hanoi. Think lemongrass, chilli, galangal, coconut, lots of fresh herbs and a few fabulous artisanal Irish products from Indie Fude.

Banh Xeo (Turmeric & Coconut Pancakes) Canapes with Sticky Tamarind Tofu

Goi Cuon – Classic Vietnamese Summer Rolls (Pork and Prawn OR Avocado and Pickled Cucumber) and Nuoc Cham (sweet and sour dipping sauce)

Pork Bun Cha – Vietnamese Salad with Spiced Pork OR Tofu, Crispy Spring Rolls, Thread Rice Noodles & Fresh Herbs

Pho – Black Beef Dexter Spiced Noodle Broth with finely sliced Black Beef Dexter Sirloin with Rice Noodles, Beansprouts, Fresh Herbs, Lime & Chilli

OR Vegetarian Pho with Mushrooms and Marinated Egg with Rice Noodles, Beansprouts, Fresh Herbs, Lime & Chilli

The drinks: This event is BYO. Please bring a bottle (or more) of your favourite tipple. A welcome cocktail will be provided plus a small taste of craft beer matched with a few of the courses.

The place: Indie Fude, The Courtyard, 5a High Street, Comber, BT23 5HJ
The cost: £32 per person (plus a £2.57 booking fee), for a six course tasting menu plus a few extras. Online booking is now open. Click here.
Dietary Requirements: Veggie options are available for all courses (see menu above) but please let us know in advance if you require the veggie option. For all other dietary requirements just let us know when you book and we’ll try our absolute best to accommodate you.
