The Edible Flower @ Boden Park – Friday 13 & Saturday 14 October

We’re delighting to be popping up this autumn (13 & 14 October) at Boden Park Coffee Company on the Ormeau Road for our first ever Belfast-based supper club.

Inspired by Boden Park’s gorgeous house roasted coffee and the location in the old Ormeau Bakery expect a menu punctuated with coffee flavours and freshly baked bread, combined with our usual eclectic, international and veggie focused style of cooking. Think punchy and zingy Mexican and Asian flavours – garlic, chilli, coffee, chocolate, corn, lime, ginger, galangal and sesame.

Boden Park Coffee Company is a coffee shop based in the beautiful old Ormeau Bakery Building on the vibrant Ormeau Road. The coffee shop, run by entrepreneur Orla McKeating, provides delicious coffees, homemade cakes, pastries and lunches to her eager local (and not so local) audience. Orla has also recently started roasting her own coffee beans for the cafe with delicious results, the coffee will be featured in a few of the dishes on October’s menu. Jo has already brewed a Boden Park Coffee Dunkel, using Orla’s Brazilian Fazenda Sao Silvestre.

The menu: A five-course tasting menu of eclectic Asian and Mexican dishes with our own twist, plus a few extras. Think chilli, garlic, homemade bread, coffee, chocolate, lime, corn and lemongrass.
The drinks: This event is BYO. Please bring a bottle (or more) of your favourite tipple. A welcome cocktail will be provided plus a small taste of craft beer matched with a few of the courses.
The time: 7.30pm, Friday 13 or Saturday 14 October 2017
The place: Boden Park Coffee Company, Unit 10, Ormeau Bakery, Ormeau Road
The cost: £35 per person for a five-course tasting menu plus a few extras. 
Dietary Requirements: Veggie options are available for all courses (see menu above) but please let us know in advance if you require the veggie option. For all other dietary requirements just let us know when you book and we’ll try our absolute best to accommodate you.
