Winter Solstice Supper Club @The Edible Flower – Wednesday 21 or Thursday 22 December 2016


Embrace the shortest day and longest night of the year and join us for an evening of midwinter feasting. There will be aperitifs & canapes around our outdoor fire pit (so come bundled up warm) and then we’ll all go inside our Victorian farmhouse, decked out in the festive season’s greenery, for much fun and feasting. The menu is inspired by the lyrics from the Christmas carol ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas’, but don’t worry we won’t make you sing, unless you really want to!

Roasted Golden Beets, Butternut Squash & Pearl Barley Risotto, Soft Hen’s Egg, Parmesan Crisps and Sage Butter

The drinks: This event is BYO. Please bring a bottle (or more) of your favourite tipple. A welcoming glass of Mulled Cider will be provided plus a small taste of craft beer matched with a few of the courses.
The time: 7pm, Wednesday 21 December 2016
The place: The Edible Flower, Middle Road, Saintfield, Co. Down, BT24 7LS – a map and full details and directions will be sent when you book your place.
The cost: £30 per person, for a five course menu plus a few extras.
Dietary Requirements: Veggie options are available for all courses (see menu above) but please let us know in advance if you require the veggie option. For all other dietary requirements just let us know when you book and we’ll try our absolute best to accommodate you.
