Join us for the third event in our Future of Food Supper Club series – the ‘Keep It Local’ Supper Club. For this event we’re celebrating some of the very best in local food but mixing it up with our usual international Edible Flower style. We’ll be using foraged ingredients, vegetables, salads, herbs and flowers from our organic kitchen garden in Saintfield as well as featuring some of our favourite local producers.
We’ve set ourselves the challenge of only using main ingredients that have been grown or produced on the island of Ireland and where possible in Northern Ireland. We’re giving ourselves a little leeway with spices and flavourings – because cooking without black pepper or lemons is a little depressing. But rest assured that we’ll be hunting out some of the best local ingredients we can find.
For this supper club we are back at the fabulous Indie Fude, in their gorgeous new shop and deli on Castle Street, Comber. We’re really excited to be hosting this event in collaboration with Johnny & Laura at Indie Fude, some of the most passionate champions of local food in Northern Ireland!
