Are you yearning to celebrate with friends and family this festive season without the ubiquitous turkey dinner? Do you fancy breaking bread with others in a beautiful, intimate setting, bedecked with the seasons greenery, candles and twinkling lights. Join us this December for a cosy evening of food and feasting in our period farmhouse at The Edible Flower.

We’ll be marking the Winter Solstice, the darkest days of the year and the moment when, very slowly, the earth starts to turn towards the light. It might seem like we are still in the depths of Winter but underneath the ground and in the barren, woody parts of shrubs and trees the plants can sense the imperceptible lengthening of the days, the promise of light and warmth. A reason to celebrate and to remind ourselves that Spring will come again.

There will be a nod to the festive season, but this year’s menu is inspired by our love of delicious dishes from all over the globe – in particular our enduring love of dumplings! We’ve managed to include four different dumplings in this menu! We’ll start round the fire for drinks and snacks and then head into our dining room for a five-course feast!

The dates available are as follows:

Wednesday 15th December
Thursday 16th December
Friday 17th December
Saturday 18th December
Tuesday 21st December
Wednesday 22nd December

Please note: If you are not attending in a group of six people, it is likely you will be sat at a table with other groups. If you are not comfortable sitting with other people then please do not book tickets as unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to seat all groups separately. All guests will be asked to adhere to social distancing and mask-wearing guidance as appropriate, more details below.
