Bealtaine Supper Club

  • The Edible Flower (map)

We love celebrating the festivals of the Celtic Wheel with a supper club, it’s the most delicious way to bring people together to honour and be present in the season. Bealtaine is the Celtic festival that marks the beginning of the lighter half of the year - the return of warmth and sunshine heralded by the hawthorn blossom.

We’ll be celebrating Bealtaine using the best of what is in the garden and hedgerows in May, plus some delicious local produce and a few pickles and preserves from our larder. We’re looking forward to taking you on a culinary journey from Japan to Vietnam to Ireland via sunny Mediterranean Greece, we hope to tantalise your taste buds and surprise you with a few unexpected but delicious flavours. Think of gingery magnolia, cheesy Hegarty’s cheddar, zingy chilli and lime, punchy wild garlic, fresh greens, fragrant cherry blossom and rose and plenty of springtime herbs.

We’ll begin the evening with drinks and small bites in the garden and finish the night (weather permitting) all gathered around our fire pit for a bit of Bealtaine magic
