Summer Solstice Supper Club

  • The Edible Flower (map)

One of the most magical times of the year is upon us and we have a feast in store for you. The festival of Midsummer is celebrated throughout northern Europe to mark the longest days of the year, when the daylight stretches long into the evening and the night sky seems to never be fully dark. For this event, our sixth Summer Solstice supper, the menu pays homage to the Swedish, famed for their Midsommar festivities!

It’s said that at Summer Solstice plants take on supernatural healing powers as leaves and greens are at their peak with the long, sunny days. This menu is packed full of fresh greens, early summer fruit and veggies and some gorgeous local produce. Think gravlax and rye bread, pickles and beetroot, Swedish meatballs (there will be a delicious veggie version) and redcurrant jelly, crushed new potatoes, all the herbs, early summer fruit and the most delectable blackcurrant tart!
