We are delighted to be partnering with ArtsEkta for a unique ‘at home’ supper club on Saturday 20th February 2021.
Together we’ll be exploring the ancient network of trading routes along the Silk Road – stretching from China in the East through Persia and onto the Mediterranean in the West. Expect buttery fennel and turmeric flatbreads, silky baba ghanoush, aromatic baked rice, smoky spiced chicken or squash, cardamom chocolate pots, lots of pomegranate seeds and much more besides.
The menu for this supper club has been inspired by recipes and cooking stories from the local asylum seeker and refugee community, who ArtsEkta work with on a regular basis. It has been a real joy to learn more about their recipes and we are looking forward to a time (in the hopefully not to distant future) when we can cook together with the people who submitted the recipes in real life!

The place: Online/In the comfort of your own home
The cost: £50 per box, which feeds two people with a three-course feast
The pick up: Boxes can be collected from The Edible Flower, 121 Middle Road, Saintfield, BT24 7LS between 3-6pm on Saturday 20th February or can be delivered within Belfast + 10 mile radius
Dietary Requirements: We can cater for vegetarians. Please choose the vegetarian option when making your booking. Unfortunately on this occasion we are not able to cater for other dietary requirements. The food is prepared in a kitchen that handles all of the main 14 allergens.
